Making music with others

If you play cello, or want to learn how to play the cello, I can recommend playing with others. Whether it is in group lessons (next to individual lessons), recitals, chamber music or an orchestra, you can learn a lot from playing with others. First of all you learn not to stop while playing a wrong note. In a group you have to keep going. Secondly you learn to play faster. You have to keep up with the group. Third of all you learn to play a lot of really beautiful pieces you cannot play on your own. Fourth, you learn to watch a conductor and play simultanously. Fifth, you have a lot of fun!
